Real Wedding: Ceci & Chris

Real Weddings· Uncategorized· Weddings

I am so excited to share this stunner of a wedding. Not only did it take place in a gorgeous location, but the bride and groom went above and beyond creating memorable and personal details to make their wedding a one of a kind event. This beautiful celebration took place in lovely St. Augustine, Florida and was photographed by the fabulous Tonya Beaver.

Tonya shared some of her favorite aspects of Ceci and Chris’ spectacular wedding:

They had a GORGEOUS wedding in downtown Saint Augustine. Starting at the Casa Monica for all the getting ready shots, the room was gorgeous with great light and deep rich tones. From there the girls went over to the Lightner Museum for prewdding photos. We went into the center couryard for their first look. I love the look on Chris’ face when he gets to see her for the first time.

The Lightner has a beautiful courtyard which is perfect for wedding ceremonies. The tiny little chapel with that rich orange light is to die for. From there we just roamed around to take their formal shots which includes running out to the bay for some sunset/sailboat photos. Once back to their reception at Casa Monica, the party officially started and did not slow down until the exit. It was an awesome party! The other really great thing about this wedding day was all the children. Ceci and Chris both have children so this wedding day wasn’t just about a couple but a family. Sharing special moments in the ceremony and sweet dances with the kids at the reception made for an extra special day…not to mention the kid’s speeches. Talk about tear jerkers!

My last favorite moment of the day was the last dance. The DJ cleared the room of all the guests so they could line up for the exit. Meanwhile, Ceci and Chris stayed behind in a room of no one but them for their last dance. I must admit, I cried. Something about the last dance alone is so tender to me. They get to take in the last few moments of their perfect day with no one else around, no one to tend to, nothing going on but each other. Love it!

Thank you, Tonya, Ceci and Chris for sharing this amazing wedding with us!
