Hope everyone in the US had a safe, happy and fun-filled Independence Day weekend! Friends outside of the US, hope your weekends were equally as wonderful. In my opinion, every weekend should be a celebration, right? I got to spend the last few days hanging out with two pretty cool people known as Mom and Dad, who were in town visiting us for the holiday. It’s during those precious times with family that I realize how incredibly blessed I am. Not just to have loving and supportive parents, but to have a job that allows me to step away from work whenever I choose, so I can spend time with the people who matter most.
Working for yourself and having your own business comes with it’s share of struggles, but the rewards far outnumber them. If you’ve been yearning for something different lately— maybe it’s spending more time with your family, maybe it’s having more time to yourself (no judgements, moms) or perhaps it’s changing jobs or finding more time to travel— whatever it is, I encourage you to switch something up this week. Sometimes the smallest changes can make the biggest impact.
For those who may be new to my Motivation Mondays, here’s a little rundown of how it works:
