The latest book that’s been inspiring the heck out of me is called, Think and Grow Rich. Don’t let the title fool you— this book is about something way more important that making money. It focuses on teaching you how to obtain what you set your mind on, and it gives away the huge secret to being one of those uber successful people. I encourage you to actually read the book for yourself (it’s a classic, so you should be able to find it at your library), but if you don’t want to wait for the big reveal, I’ll share it with you. #spoileralert
The secret to success is: not giving up. This sounds cliche, but it’s not. So many people attempt to do awesomely amazing things and very few of us follow through and stick it out to the end. When we encounter struggles, we tell ourselves the lie that “we can’t do this” because we are lacking skills, or confidence, or tools, or time or whatever other excuse we can come up with to prevent ourselves from achieving our goal. If I sound like I know what I’m talking about, it’s because I tell myself these lies all the time, but I’m working really hard on pushing past it.
Yes I CAN do what I’ve set my mind on, and so can you.
