This week’s quote is a tough one for me to follow. I come from a long line of worriers. Like legendary status. My cousins and I love to tease my Aunt Liz because there’s even a patented “worrying sound,” she makes (one we’ve all perfected imitating). Imagine taking a big breath in, while making an extremely high pitched noise, that sounds something like “heeeeee!”.
However, I have an understanding that “trusting” is part of loving. You can love so hard that you worry yourself to death, or you can choose to live in the freedom that everything will be okay, as long as love exists. Don’t put a damper on your desire to show kindness. Let that love flow freely, and tell those fearful thoughts to take a hike.
