Your weekly free printable inspirational quote awaits!
I started this year with high hopes, and the greatest intentions. I even wrote out my very specific goals for what I wanted to accomplish during each quarter of the year, so I would stay focused and avoid distractions. Now that we are more than halfway through Quarter 1, I’m here to admit that I’ve been failing. Not miserably, but still failing.
Some of my so-called distractions have been unexpected, like website issues and needing to move to a new server. Others, have just been me saying “yes” to things I said I wouldn’t, like taking on new custom jobs in my Etsy shop. And sometimes, I get inspired by an entrepreneur on podcast, or Instagram, and end up down a rabbit hole trying to figure out how they became so successful, and what I can do to be more like them.
Ironically, these people I admire most, all have one thing in common. They do ONE thing, with excellence. They don’t say yes to everything. And they don’t try to serve everyone.
This week, I’m committing to shifting my focus back to Quarter 1 Goal, which is to publish my program for graphic designers + aspiring girl bosses. Whether you are a fellow small biz owner, a mom who is being pulled in too many different directions, or someone who is just really bad at saying “no”, I encourage you to join me in my quest to do less, and accomplish more.
