Admittedly, I am an over-planner and over-worrier. When we were planning our wedding, I don’t think I even allowed the thought of having an outdoor reception to enter my brain. Yet, I find myself swooning over these absolutely gorgeous nighttime, outdoor reception shots. I’m constantly adding images that include lanterns and candles and strings of lights to my Pinterest page. In fact, I really should have an entire Pinterest category dedicated solely to lights. There is just something so magical about lights on your wedding day! As you can see below, there really is no wrong way to add a bit of sparkly magic to your wedding reception. String up lights, hang lanterns, light candles…and there is no rule that says you can’t bring these same elements into an indoor space (if you are a scaredy cat like me).
