We are taking a little break from wedding an engagement shoots today to enjoy this absolutely fabulous Engagement Cocktail Party. The concept is “Sip and Sparkle” which encompasses some colorful and creative hors d’oeuvres, a bountiful cheese platter, scrumptious desserts and of course lots of champagne and bubbly infused cocktails. All the lovely details of this shoot were captured by Wendi Poole of Thompson Poole Photography. Wendi and co-owner Denise share more tips for throwing the perfect party:
We created an easy atmosphere using both formal and informal elements. The décor and menu choices set the stage for the party, but it’s the attention to the small details that creates the kind of relaxed elegance that invites your guests to linger, enjoy and revel.
Your guests immediately know they are in for something special when you greet them with a flute of Champagne infused with a candied Hibiscus flower. An interactive Sparkle Station featuring Classic Cocktails will keep the party going and hors d’oeuvres, gilded chocolate morsels and a rustic cheeseboard casually spread throughout the house create an easy flow. And don’t forget to send your guests home with their very own bottle of bubbly and a cocktail recipe deck.
