With so many weddings coming up in late spring and summer, bridal shower season seems to be in full swing. I was so happy when Paige of Paige Overturf Photography sent me this sweet shower to share with all of you. Feminine and full of delicate details, this event truly encompasses all that a traditional bridal shower should be. Here are some more details about the couple from the photographer…
Light pink candles glowing throughout the room. Pink flowers, tea pots, dainty desserts, and tea sandwiches. Jen, from a small town in South Carolina, fell in love with a boy whom she had met at college. Graduating a year before her, Micah went back to Guam where his family lives. That Christmas, Micah flew back to the States without giving Jen so much as a hint. While out with her family, her mother asked her to take a family photo for them. As she backed up to fit everyone in the frame, a nearby passerby taps her on the shoulder, “excuse me, would you like me to take the photo for you?” Turning around, she found herself staring into the eyes of the man she loved. Getting down on one knee, he asked her right then and there to marry him.
