Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a happy Easter weekend (or just regular weekend)! I regret that I am making this announcement on April 1st, April Fool’s Day, because it may not be taken seriously, but I assure you that my news is legitimate, and promise that I won’t be following this up with a “gotcha” post tomorrow. So here we go…
Five years ago, yesterday, my hubby and I moved from our home towns’ in New York, into this beautiful house in Central Connecticut:
We have made lots of wonderful memories in our home over the last five years and have been fortunate enough to befriend some amazing people. For me, this includes brides and grooms whom I have worked with, as well as some fantastic wedding vendors whom I am lucky enough to call friends.
If you’ve been a reader/follower for awhile you have seen me post a lot about my dislike of cold weather and snow, and my love of warmth and summer. My husband James and I have always kept an open mind about relocating to someplace warmer if the right opportunity presented itself, and that time has finally come!
James has accepted a new position in Northeast Florida, and we will be relocating there next week! Our new digs has a bit of a different vibe to it, but I think I will be able to get used to it:
Many of our family members and friends have been asking what this move means for me and my business. Aside from a few days that I will be taking off to make this move, not much! The blog will continue as it has been and I am still excited about some new additions I have lined up for later in the year! Please continue to stay tuned!
With all of this excitement, I didn’t forget that Mad Men, one of my favorite shows, is returning on Sunday. I have declared this to be “Mad Men Week”, and will be sharing some awesome features, which celebrate the stylish sixties—starting tomorrow!
Thank you all for your continued support! xo
