Welcome! As you may have noticed, the Michelle Hickey Design blog moved web addresses and got a little makeover during the holiday weekend. I am happy to present Elegance & Enchantment— a new brand that will reach outside of just weddings and design and delve into additional topics like lifestyle, fashion and DIY.
Why the name change? There has been quite a bit of confusion as to exactly what the old blog was. Weddings & Events by Michelle Hickey Design, the title of the blog, suggested that I am an event planner, which I am not. Those who did understand that I was a designer/stationer, were probably wondering why I was blogging about topics outside of stationery.
I wanted to create a space without boundaries, where I could blog on a variety of topics, share tips, discuss current trends and of course, inspire. Elegance & Enchantment will encompass just that!
All of our old content has been redirected to the new site, so you will still be able to go back and access your favorite posts. Since my business, Michelle Hickey Design no longer has a blog, you will occasionally hear snippets about current projects and behind the scenes news, right here.
