When obstacles appear, we need to get creative— and let our desire for positive change, be greater than our roadblocks.
A NEW PERSPECTIVE
- If you’ve made it your resolution to run every day, and you’re snowed in, look for a free, calorie-torching YouTube video.
- If you’ve made it your resolution to save money— but all of your girlfriends are planning a shopping spree, skip it, and invite them all back to your home afterward for a potluck.
- If you’ve made it your resolution to be a more patient person, but your little one drawing with permanent marker all over your furniture, step away from the situation, take a breather, think big picture, and cherish this precious, temporary season of life. Plus know that you’ll have a really awesome story to tell that kid when they are an adult.
If the wind will not serve, take to the oars.
When things don’t go to plan, make a plan B. There’s always a solution. And you are so much stronger and more creative than you think.
