My husband works for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and one thing I’ve heard from several friends who are customers is how much they appreciate the professional attire the Enterprise employees wear. Their appearance leaves customers with the feeling that they take their job seriously, and that they take the customers seriously as well. They dress for the occasion, knowing the effect their appearance has on the company’s reputation as a whole, and on the peace of mind of the people that they are serving. However, one reason this quote is so great is that it doesn’t focus solely on outward appearance. There is such a wealth of knowledge out there that it’s impossible to be overeducated, but the pursuit of knowledge is invigorating and empowering.
