I may be a little bit biased because it’s my birthday month, but June is my favorite time of the year. Warm weather has arrived, summer awaits, and the possibilities for fun are endless. It’s important to dream really big every month, but our crazy lives don’t always allow the time and space to do so. If this starts a slower season for you, take advantage of it. Give yourself the permission to fantasize about what you want your ideal life to look like. Don’t worry about the logistics. Just be bold enough to declare what you want.
Keep this calendar card on your desk, in your kitchen, or even in your car (since that’s where so many of us spend most of our time)! The prompt and encouraging message will serve as a reminder that possibility is out there, just waiting for us to grab hold of it. Oftentimes, it’s not that our dreams aren’t possible, but we feel we are unworthy of them coming true. Say it ain’t so! Believing is the first step toward making things happen.
The last year has brought me lots of blessings— a new nephew and niece, growth in my business, and a new home. You better believe that I’m feeling like I already have more than I deserve. But that’s not a mindset I want to adopt. This month I’m setting my sights higher, dreaming bigger, and challenging myself to find ways not only to improve my life but the lives of the people I serve.
