Welcome to month 11 of the Elegance and Enchantment Creative Challenge! If you are just stumbling across this post and want to read more about the origins of the challenge and how you can get involved, I encourage you to start with this post. You can check out recaps from our other challenges here:

Challenge 11 will take place from November 13th – December 11th, but please take extra days if you need them.
I strategically planned this challenge to take place before the holidays, because I thought it would be a great opportunity to create some awesome handmade gifts! I am lucky to have two jewelry-making mavens at my disposal— my college roomie and my HS bestie. They’ve both created some lovely pieces for me over the years, and have inspired me to create some of my own. My only jewelry making experience comes from making friendship bracelets, so this should be interesting!
I’m so happy to have the Creative Challenge Community along with me for this month’s adventure. As always, I’m looking forward to seeing the talents of these awesomely creative folks come to life in their projects.
Here are some DIY jewelry project ideas to try out:
1. Go crazy with beads. String together a sparkly necklace or perhaps a pair of dangly earrings?
2. Lacking fancy jewelry making tools or materials? Don’t underestimate how fun it would be to spend an afternoon making macaroni necklaces with your little one.
3. Gather up some colorful string and make your own friendship bracelets.
4. Hunt around for vintage buttons, pins, or coins and remix it into a new piece of jewelry.
5. Make a trendy leather cuff or maybe even a unique keychain.
