I often wish that there was an easy and non-annoying way to incorporate music into my blog posts, and this is definitely one of those occasions. If it helps set the mood, here’s a link to listen to Monster Mash on Spotify. I’m bopping along to it as I type this!
If you’re thinking about planning a good old fashioned Halloween or Costume Party, I’ve got just the thing you need to get started! A brand new invitation design that’s not only free, but customizable so you can type in your own “when”, “where” and “rsvp.” This is an awesome feature if you aren’t too crazy about your handwriting or if you just don’t have the time to write out all your details by hand.
I set up the printable file with two invitations on an 8.5 x 11 page so each invitation will be 5 x 7 once it’s trimmed out. I suggest printing on card stock and trimming them out with either scissors or an xacto knife and a ruler. Looking for the perfect sized envelopes? You will need the A7 size (5.25 x 7.25)— which is a standard and can easily be found in your local office supply store. These orange envelopes from Amazon would match them perfectly as well!
If you’d like to add an extra layer of fabulousness, I’ve included four different patterns that you can use to print on the back side. Simply print side one, flip the page over and send the page back through the printer to print the patterned back (every printer is a little different, so you may need to experiment to see which side needs to be face up). Once you have both sides printed, you can trim each card out.
This invitation design is just the first in a bunch of free Halloween printable goodies that I’ll be sharing over the next month or so. You can keep a look out for matching party flags, stickers, art prints, and bottle labels— just about everything you’ll need to throw a fun and festive Halloween Party. The best way to make sure you don’t miss out on these or any of the many freebies that I share is to hop on the mailing list, which you can do right here.
