12 Days of Holiday Design: Day 8 – Gift Card Holder

Christmas· Free Printables· Holiday

Elegance and Enchantment Gift Card Packaging

I miss the days when we gave books, CDs and DVDs as gifts. Now everything is digital, which means a lot more gift cards are being handed out at Christmas time. Stores and companies do a decent job with their gift card packaging, but it can all start to look very generic, which is why I came up with this creative gift card packaging!

Elegance and Enchantment Gift Card Packaging

For today’s free printable, I have provided you with a template to create your own folded card, with slits to place your gift card. Additionally, there are two customizable cards: the first is the interior card that appears above the gift card, when it’s opened.

The second, smaller card is a name tag, which you can add to the front of the packaging. I mounted the tag on to a piece of 3″ x 2″ piece of card stock and created a belly band using some red ribbon. The ribbon can be wrapped around the card, attaching the ends together in front with some double sided tape or glue (I used my tape gun). Place the tag right on top so you won’t see the seam of the ribbons.

Both the tags and the inside card are fully editable so you can type in your own names.

The result is a beautiful presentation and even a keepsake for your family and friends.

Download your gift card packaging files here. Please note that you will need to download the files before you are able to edit the type. If you need a refresher on how to edit a type in a PDF, please see my post here.

The script I used for the names is free for personal use and can be found here.
