Elegance & Enchantment

Elegance and Enchantment Turns 1!

Announcements· Inside the Studio

Elegance and Enchantment Birthday

One year ago today, the little blog that accompanied my wedding stationery business got a new name and made a leap to become a brand new blog called Elegance and Enchantment! It has been a big year for me both professionally (starting this blog and opening my online stationery shop, Enchanted Prints) and personally (making a big move from our home in Connecticut, to the Sunshine State).

They say time flies when you’re having fun, and that has most definitely been the case for me! It has been a whirlwind of a year, but all good things. This one-year milestone has given me the opportunity to reflect and have gratitude for the multitude of blessings in my life— this blog being a huge part of that.

As we head into year two, the foundation of the blog will stay the same, but with some new features to come. A large part of why this blog broke off from my stationery business to begin with was to broaden the breadth of topics outside of the wedding world. Topics that we have covered in the past year like fashion, DIY and lifestyle, will continue into the next year, with the addition of a new topic, which is my bread and butter: DESIGN.

I have gotten a lot of design how-to questions that I look forward to addressing and sharing.

My mission for the next year is to share ways to implement beautiful design — whether it be into every day life, or for a special occasion!

Being a designer, I want to rebrand my blog just about once a week, but that would be a little ridiculous. Somehow I managed to hold off until our first birthday. I can’t promise this will be the last re-branding, but this should at least last us until next year. 🙂 Gone from our look is the purple, which never really had a significance to me, and which I got sick of looking at real fast. Our new look is a little more clean and a little more chic— using black as the main color, with accents of silver, gold and blush. The new fonts I’m using are: Trade Gothic Condensed, AW Conqueror Sans and Melany Lane.

Enough of my yapping…take a look for yourself!

Thank you for being part of this journey and I look forward to all that’s to come!
